My husband, P.E. has spurs in his lumbar area. He also sustained a left sided stroke in January ’09. By June ’09, he had immense pain in his lower back – had to stop therapy and had great difficulty in walking. Only one procedure with Dr. Le, he was completely free of pain- he had been to another pain relief doctor two years prior for foot neuropathy- no success whatsoever. He still has the foot neuropathy but not the back pain.

The staff and medical improvements have been amazing. Because of the treatment and support received at the PRC, I have been encouraged and helped to lead a more normal life. My pain is being managed and I have learned skills to deal with pain as it resumes. The staff, doctors (and nurse practitioner, especially Naomi) and all medical personnel are friendly, caring and supportive. I know that my wellbeing is the priority of Dr. Friedman and his staff without the PRC, my quality of life would be very sad and depressing.

Everyone here is very attentive and caring. Not that they always agree with me – and they shouldn’t always. Everyone is willing to listen! That’s important. I would like to tell you a little something about my recent experience at the Pain Relief Center. The last time I went to the Center, I could barely get into the car, could hardly walk and literally had to hold onto anything from a door frame to a door knob, walls, anything that would help me get back to the examination room. I was in excruciating pain, the worst ever in my life… (After the procedure) I was given a little something to eat and drink and then the nurse helped me to get dressed and I WALKED to the front door and was able to get into the car PAIN FREE for the first time in a long time! My thanks to all of the staff at the center and especially Dr. Henley-Seymour for their/her professionalism, care and concern for me…
